“Verloren & Geborgen” – A VR Exhibition on Structural Engineering in Berlin
Experience the fascinating world of structural engineering in a completely new dimension!
From February 11 to March 8, 2026 the Digital Museum of Structural Engineering will present its first Virtual-Reality-Exhibition at the Federal Bauakademie Foundation´s “Roter Saal” (Schinkelplatz, Berlin).
The exhibition “Verloren & Geborgen” invites visitors to explore seven historic buildings that have long disappeared – reconstructed as walkable 3D models. Here, digital Baukultur (architectural culture) will come to life: interactive reconstructions, historical buildings, and atmospheric dimensions open up new perspectives on technology and aesthetics.
The exhibition is accompanied by an extensive program of events. The exhibition opening will take place on February 11, 2026, at 18:00. All are warmly invited to join!
