The Federal Bauakademie Foundation is an institution dedicated to all topics related to the future of the construction industry. Through research projects, events, and exhibitions it accelerates the building transition. 

The construction sector is in a state of transformation. Stricter climate protection targets, forward-thinking sustainability concepts and new digitalization processes are fundamentally changing all aspects of construction – from how buildings are designed to how they are used. The Bauakademie supports this transformation by connecting stakeholders and sharing knowledge in key areas that will shape construction in the 21st century.

The Federal Bauakademie Foundation is to become a national and international showcase for the building transition, sparking dialogue on construction, urban development, housing, and building culture. Located in the immediate vicinity of the Humboldt Forum and Museum Island, this project by the federal government places an architectural and cultural emphasis in the capital, which committed to its historical origins and devoted to the entirety of construction.
