Neighborhood Festival | Summer on the Island

On the 5th of July ESMT Berlin´s garden will become the stage for the IG Spreeinsel Neighborhood Festival!

Together with local residents, students, cultural institutions, and guests from across Berlin, we’ll be celebrating summer in the heart of the city. 

A diverse program awaits you: 

• Live music by students of the Hanns Eisler School of Music
• Panel discussion on urban development, featuring, among others, the Senate Building Director Prof. Petra Kahlfeldt
• Exhibition of current construction projects in Berlin-Mitte
• Food trucks offering culinary specialties
• Children’s program with a bouncy castle, face painting, balloon animals, and much more
• Sports zone with table tennis and soccer
