Sören Bartol emphasized in his welcome address that responsibility and dialogue are essential prerequisites for innovation in construction.
In her keynote, Prof. Dr. Anupama Kundoo (TU Berlin) called for greater courage in dealing with the complexity of construction. She stressed that the Federal Bauakademie Foundation should serve as a space for dialogue and concrete action, involving a wide range of stakeholders.

In the closing discussion, Prof. Elisabeth Endres (TU Braunschweig) summed it up succinctly: “We all need more courage to simply try things out and put them into practice.”

“The transformation of the construction sector is not an abstract goal, but a shared responsibility,” explained Dr. Elena Wiezorek, Director of the Federal Bauakademie Foundation. She emphasized both the urgency and the potential of the necessary transformation, which can only be realized through exchange and collaboration. The Federal Bauakademie Foundation provides the platform to make this possible.

How can we make “building differently” possible? In 2026, we will continue the dialogue and look forward to collaborating with our partners to explore new paths for the transformation of the construction sector.
